AI Website Package

Terms And Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all AI-generated Website orders placed with Digital Briefcase (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By submitting your website brief, paying the deposit, and/or approving your preview website build, you agree to the following:

  1. What You’re Getting

The AI Website package includes:

  • A custom WordPress website built using AI (artificial intelligence)
  • 1 (one) scrolling landing page
  • Content (copy & stock images)
  • Mobile-responsive design
  • Contact form
  • Search Console setup for SEO (search engine optimisation)
  • .co.za domain registration (valid for 1 year)
  • Hosting for 12 months
  • 3 professional email accounts (optional)
  • Go-live within 4 working days after deposit and final approval 

What’s not included (but can be quoted separately):

  • E-commerce setups
  • Payment gateways
  • Booking systems
  • Custom integrations or plugins
  • Advanced image editing
  • Additional pages
  • Ongoing monthly maintenance 
  1. The Process

Step 1 – Submit your website brief
You’ll complete the briefing form so we can gather your brand details, colours, images, and information.

Step 2 – Pay the R1,000 refundable deposit
We only begin building once the brief is complete and the deposit is paid.

Step 3 – Receive your preview build after 2 days
Your preview link will be shared with you within 2 working days.

Step 4 – Website tweaks

Send through your complete list of changes (to design and/or content), if you have any.

 

Step 5 – Approval

Once happy with the website, settle the outstanding balance of R5,995.00 via a secure payment gateway.

Step 6 – Go live
Your site goes live, along with your email addresses, within 2 working days after approval and payment.

  1. Preview Link & Timelines
  • Preview links are valid for 30 days from the time they are sent.
  • Any content or design changes requested after go-live fall under post-launch updates (quoted separately).
  1. Deposit, Payments & Refunds

Deposit:
A R1,000 deposit is required before we begin your preview build.

Refunds:
A refund is only granted if BOTH conditions below are met:

  1. A refund request is submitted within 7 days of receiving the preview link, and
  2. No content or design changes have been submitted.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • You submit feedback or change requests
  • You approve the preview build
  • You request a refund outside the 7-day preview window

Final Payment:
The outstanding balance of R5,995.00 is due before your website goes live.

  1. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a smooth build, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete content and business information
  • Supply logos, images, or brand material you want included
  • Review the preview build within the 7-day window
  • Communicate one set of complete changes clearly and timeously via email
  • Ensure any provided materials do not infringe copyright or third-party rights

If you fail to provide required content, brand assets, or feedback on time, we may:

  • Delay the build
  1. Content & Copyright
  • You confirm that all content, images, trademarks, and brand materials you provide belong to you or that you have permission to use them.
  • AI-generated wording, imagery or structure may be used as part of your website.
  • Digital Briefcase retains the right to showcase your completed website in our portfolio.
  • Full ownership of the website is transferred to you once full payment is received.
  1. Edits & Revisions

Included edits:

  • 1 round of reasonable content/layout refinements during the preview stage. This is limited to up to 10x changes.

Not included:

  • Complete redesign
  • New page layouts
  • Additional pages
  • Feature additions
  • Changes requested after approval or after go-live

Additional work will be quoted separately.

  1. Hosting, Domain & Email
  • Hosting is included for 12 months from the go-live date.
  • Email setup includes up to 3 professional accounts (optional).
  • .co.za Domain costs are included in Year 1 and renewable annually at the standard renewal rate.
  • Failure to renew hosting or domain on time may result in the website going offline.
  1. Support After Go-Live

This package does not include monthly updates, maintenance, security scans, or content changes after launch.

You may add on:

  • A monthly maintenance plan retainer
  • Ad-hoc support (billed hourly)
  1. Project Pauses & Non-Response

If we do not receive required content or feedback within 14 days, the project will be paused, and a deposit refund will no longer apply.

Projects older than 30 days of inactivity will be closed on our end, and in order to reactivate a fee of R500 excl Vat will apply.

  1. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of business as a result of downtime
  • Issues caused by third-party platforms, plugins, or hosting partners
  • SEO ranking fluctuations
  • Client-provided content errors
  • Security breaches outside of our control
  1. Acceptance

By submitting your brief, paying the deposit, or approving your preview build, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
